The first amendment is base on relgion and expression thats y people feel its one of the
most important.
In 1791, Congress passed the first amendment, Congress shall make no law respecting
an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the
freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and
to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. , most people believe that this
amendment is one of the most important ever passed by Congress.

Protests would not be able to be held if the first amendment was not made in 1791
the united states of america would truly be a different place if the first amendment was never created
