Reflection #1:

I believe that anxiety levels among undergraduate students do play roles in the outcome of their grades. This research found that if the student has a certain amount of time to complete an exam, anxiety would set in. Anxiety affects the recalling of what you learn, how you perform, and how you will score on the exam. Students realize that they only have a certain amount of time to complete their exam and worry that they wont finish in time. They worry about how much time is left instead of focusing on the questions. When students feel they are pressed for time they rush through the questions. By them rushing through the test, they do not adequately answer the questions like they would if time was not a factor. I feel professors need to realize that time limits on exams affect some students scoring. Professors need to take in account that giving time barriers might not be such a good idea. Professors should model their exams in a fashion that gives students the ability to no have to worry how much time is left.
Another factor such as lack of sleep, nutrition, and understanding of studied material are also things that cause anxiety. Students cannot function properly when

there are unbalances in their system. These unbalances increase anxiety in the test taker.
Students need to find a way to relax themselves during exam time in order not to affect their performance.
